Unfortunatly its been a while since we’ve done anything with our display window, hence why were so excited about this upcoming project! Some of you may remember the vintage tattoo shop instilation by PHil LUck or the mural by our good bud Travis Jackson..which just got painted over unfortunaatly…but this is going to be awesome and permanent. We are really really pumped about this new idea..ARE YOU READY!? Ok…here it goes..were goin to build an actual CACTUS GARDEN! Yuh! Hahah, hope your as pumped about this as we are. We’re real cactus lovers here at Studio 21 and couldn’t be more into this idea. With a light touch of some ghostly cactus murals from Tyson (@SavageSon)  and the collection of cactus and random antiques curated by Mom, Charlie and Austin, this is gonna be rad! Not %100 but were pretty damn sure that we’ll be the first and only Tattoo Shop to have an actual cactus garden #justsayin. After the murals are finished up and the cactus are arranged, we’ll be fabricating our own old school marquee sign backlight with RGB LED strips…then fun will then begin! Studio 21 will be able to update the sign at anytime and be able to provide a message to the 75-80 THOUSAND cars a day traveling up Flamingo road. Lets see…hmnn what are we gonna have to say!? Give us a month or so and well have the garden ready to roll! Here’s some sneek peek pics of the project. Can’t wait for you to see it!

Damn were lucky! Studio 21 Tattoo just happens to attract the coolest people, clients, friends, and co workers. We’re super stoked to be able to say that our family has grown and grown right with the addition of Penny as one of our front counter gals. This last week Penny celebrated her 2 year anniversry with us and we couldn’t be happier to have her! Penny has gone from an amazing client to an even better member of the 21 Fam and now nieghbor to the Studio. From greeting clients, remembering names, to keeping the guys focused and happy, penny always finds a way to keep everyone smiling and keep a great positive attitude. Thank you Penny for being there for us, our freinds, clients and patiently pushing us forward, we look forward to celebrating many good times and accomplishing new great things together!

Were lucky enough to have surrounded ourselves with some seriously talented artists and collectors of art of all kinds over the years and received some amazing gifts at times from people who blow our minds with talent. Casey Weldon is one of them. Austin Spencer, one of our artists and Co-Owner of Studio 21 Tattoo was fortunate enough to have Casey  as a friend  for over 10 years now. With Casey helping educate Austin with some priceless guidance in the acrylic painting medium and a lot of beer drinking, Austin accredited Casey to helping him really start to understand acrylic as a medium and certainly enjoyed the beer drinking! This headdress is a piece that Casey was nice enough to gift to the Studio for our 10 year anniversary. This headdress is not only fabricated out of actual tattoo equipment (tubes, ink caps, needles, and ink) along with succulents,  but its built to be able to actually wear! Its awesome. These are some shots of our other great friend and cactus lover Jinxi. You might know her  from her famous tattoo collector book series published by her very own Out of Step Books. Jinxi also RULES. In lieu of National Donut Day today, the ever so handsome artists of Studio 21 Tattoo partook in many of the  popular delicous deserts. Laughing and throwing together an impromptu photo shoot with some nasty lil’ Krispy Kream donuts and plenty of great laughs, as Ice Cube would put it..”Today was a GOOD DAY”…SOO GOOOOD!! Hope you had a great day and savagely ate as many donuts as your little tummy could handle. See ya next year with new donuts and more stomach aches!

Wondering around the ol’ computer and came across some great photos of Studio 21’s Halloween party last year (2013). Sometimes you get a little busy and time just flys by…It’s wild how many great times we’ve been able to  share  with the Studio 21 Fam. I think I speak for us all when I say, “Damn I wanna party every day!” Sometimes we get so busy tattooing, we forget to share these really awesome moments with our friends, clients and 21 Family, so here ya go. We sure do appreciate the great people that we have the privilege of working with here at Studio 21 Tattoo and always are looking forward to spending those great nights together away from the shop.
